    MAC keeps changing in arp

Good point. The gateway has been removed from vmbr3 and was added to vmbr0. Should vmbr3 even be given an IP address? I can still access my firewall, which has the gateway IP, from the LAN. The same question applies for my DMZ on vmbr2. The flip-flopping seems to have stopped after I made...

    MAC keeps changing in arp

No I don't. I've even gone so far as to change the addresses. I've scanned subnets with Wireshark and Zenmap. No duplicates at all. What I'm experiencing is terrible speed, the MAC address changes every nth of a second, and now I'm seeing LAN traffic in the DMZ and vise-versa in my Pfsense...

    6.x to 7.x explosion

Thanks for the reply. I was prompted to change Buster Main contrib repo, but not to Bullseye, nor did I do it myself. I made copies of /root/*, /etc/*, ../kvm/*, ../cron/*. So what I've been doing is replacing content in the new 7.x files with the content of the last working config. I must...

Installing OpenWRT as LXC. How convert LXC template to Proxmox Template?

Thanks for you advice. I am not familiar with OpenWrt however I have used Tomato and DD-Wrt on my Asus AS-66U. The 66U has had significant lackluster range and performance so I want to try OpenWrt on a Zotac ZBox as my access point, with PFSense for DHCP, FW, DDNS, etc. Comments appreciated. Cheers

Great advice, thanks. @tburger. I just installed a 60Gb SSD in a DVD cage from Amazon and have installed PVE, let PVE partition it and it is the R710 boot disk. @wolfgang. I configured the IPERC H700 as follows; 4x2Tb in a RAID6 VD, and the other two disks as individual RAID 0 disks... at...

Thank you Wolfgang.. The IPERC H700 requires my 6x2TB have RAID. I'm leaning towards RAID6. Are there any issues I need to anticipate using LVM-Thin with hardware RAID6 and could I install Proxmox on a USB and place it in the dedicated boot port on the R710? On the ZBox-ID88 I've installed...
