So its safe to assume that right now PBS only works with PVE for VM/container/physical-hosts backup and cannot backup VM's if the VM is on some server not using PVE ?

Well, PBS has promising feature to backup VM's containers and physical hosts... So I would like to know what is the correct way of doing that as I cant find anything clearly. Its all seems confusing and there is no much support on internet about it yet since PBS is still fairly new.

this works except the storage disks in the left panel under storage is all gone....how can we also move the storage or make it display in the left panel?

That works except all my storage in the left pane of proxmox is disappeared. Only local and local-lvm is displaying. I went inside Storage option of the node and there i can see all my disks but its not visible in the left pane. How can i also get the storage disks to display in the left panel?

Hi, I have setup another node of PVE and I detached the disk from my old PVE node abd attached it to this newer node. I can see under Disks option my new HDD is detected and displayed without doing any extra configuration so it seems like new PVE node auto detected the already configured...
