    Why sometimes while doing backup i see INFO: 7% (4.6 GiB of 64.0 GiB) in 21s, read: 229.3 MiB/s, write: 0 B/s ? Why write: 0 B/s ?

    MSL2024 Tape Change

    I did configured the tape drive. One nuance i needed to use iscsi.Between the PVE and PBS server. PBS is initiator and PVE is Target. At the web of the tape library select what tape is for cleaning. Than inventory can be started. Did i miss some problem?

    non plain text password support for environment variable?

    what's stopping use somthing kind of smbpasswd -a when we only once use plain text password, all the rest time we use hash. It can be usefull in some cases.

    failed - wait_until_ready failed - got timeout

    Hardcoded CLN names it's unfair, between me and the library thousand miles, i can't change the barcode. I dont' want to use some datastores which will be synced with tape library. I want to write straight onto the tapes. Any chance to do so with PBS ?
