Each time i try to check for new updated it ends up failing on certain parts. Also each update check takes alot time.. A speedtest.net run shows me i have normal speed at home.

I expanded the root drive with that command and now i atleast have 20% or so free. :D thank you.

Hi, when i reinstalled my proxmox to get it working. I followed someones command that gave the disk around 10 GB only.. today when i got home, i got loads of errors due to that disk was full. i Ran apt-get clean and i got around 120MB more free:d (still like 98% full).. /dev/fuse...

Hi, i just created a vm with win8 in and uploaded a win8 dvd at 4.x GB large thru ssh to the local storage.. the iso is listed on the proxmox storage. However, i cannot add a cd-rom to the vm. If i re-create the vm with a cd-rom its removed when ive finished..

Hi, im looking at my servers page (not the VM's) and cpu usage = 0.0% even if a guest uses 50+%.. shouldnt it show the computers tital cpu usage %?

Ok. trying that.. And all other VMs and "real computer" should be assigned to vmbr0? (oh and i can only access proxmox web internet using vmbr1 and 192.168.0.98) even if i change it "the other way around" and use eth0/vmbr0(192.168.0.99) it wont connect unless its vmbr1/eth1

Hi, not quite. I want to use IPFire as a firewall/router, where the red is internet and only accessable thru ipfire and its rules. The green is supposed to be lan, all VM's and proxmox should be accessable thru the green lan side if firewall rules allows it. I just dont know how the basic setup...

yeah i saw that after i posted.. Must been a huge fluke that i bought the right card for my old server.. next week ill go out and scavenge for a pci-x network card. :D

I wish it was true.. I have a x1 intel networkcard (that works with vmware ESXi) but the smallest part of it (closes to chassie) is a bit too big and wont fit in the x16 slot and the metal-thing that fits to the chassie are a bit too close to the mainboard so it wouldnt fit either day :(

Ill have to check back next week efter vacation.. too bad there is no NIC that fits a pci-express x16 slot :(
