Backup fails error 255 Also see error incomplete read detected

Ah! It doesn't say that. It just says MB with no value. Sounds like a feature improvement for another release.

Backup fails error 255 Also see error incomplete read detected

How do I change the snapshot size? I don't see a setting for that in the GUI. I looked in my vzdump.conf file (below) and it doesn't have a size specified which I assume means no limit other than the drive space? ******************************* # vzdump default settings #tmpdir: DIR...

Backup fails error 255 Also see error incomplete read detected

I agree. I did. but I've since deleted all the backups and now have plenty of space, but it still errors. I'm sure the original cause was a full HDD, but how do I get it backing up again now that there's space available?

Backup fails error 255 Also see error incomplete read detected

I'm running Version 2.2-32/3089a616 I have backups going to a couple of different drives (one local, one NAS). The NAS drive filled up and so all backups of course failed. I deleted the files on the backup and was able to backup one VM without errors, but the other VM fails. I'd read that...

Webmin Installation Issues -- Broken Packages.

Thanks. I ended up hiring someone to help get it running and he happens to hate webmin. He did get me updated to version 2.2. I was a bit surprised that all the NIC settings on every WindowsVM broke during the update. Windows sees the new system as new hardware. I guess it's because the...

Webmin Installation Issues -- Broken Packages.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm doing a clean install from the Proxmox ISO download. I've been following the video at woodel.com (great help btw) but when I get to the step to install webmin I get errors just as mentioned in this thread. I have run the apt-get update command but when I try...

Have not seen any more errors. Must be magic? Fixed itself.

    Errors after crash

My Proxmox 1.9 system crashed over the weekend. It's a Quad core with 8GB RAM. When I came in I was unable to do anything with the machine until I did a forced reboot. Once the machine came back up I wasn't able to restart the VM. After some panic searching of the threads I was able to do a...

    Illegal division by zero

Rebooting didn't help. Is it as simple as renaming that directory?

    Illegal division by zero

I had an experienced Proxmox person take a look at this. He thinks the path was named wrong by the installer ISO for some reason. He's not sure if he can just rename the path or not. He was going to look into this. In the meantime, I've come down sick so I'm going to have to leave this for a...

    Illegal division by zero

Oh geeze. Is this a common problem? This thing has only been up for about a month, if that, and there were no problems until this mystery thing showed up. I was expecting something stable.

    Illegal division by zero

What is it I'm supposed to be verifying. I've run the command and done a copy and paste with the results, did it again, and now I'm supposed to verify it. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be verifying. This is a copy and paste directly from Putty. I affirm that I did this three times. If...

    Illegal division by zero

Anything? Yes, the drive isn't used very much so the 2% is probably right, but why the error where there was no error before?

    Illegal division by zero

    Ran the command again. Here you go. kvm:~# df -P / Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on ev/pve/root 99083868 1200900 92849804 2% / kvm:~#

How to configure fixed IP on VM?

I'm still learning Linux and I'm still pretty new to Proxmox, so be kind. <g> I want to create a new VM running FreePBX. My current system has Nic1 connected to modem1, and Nic2 connected to my LAN. I need the FreePBX to use a fixed IP from my LAN. It will not use modem1 but instead will...

    Illegal division by zero

Is there a command line in the GUI where I can run such commands? You have to admit, having a machine that understands virtual but requires a local keyboard is ironic. kvm:~# df -P / Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on ev/pve/root 99083868 1199112...

    Illegal division by zero

Have had my system up and running for while now. Haven't made any changes in some time. Haven't even logged onto it in weeks. Today I was thinking about creating a new VM so I logged on and I see there's an "Error: Illegal division by zero at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/HTMLServices.pm line 154"...

Restore - how to and what's required?

How do you do a restore from that tab? I see the backup option but I don't see anything about restoring anything from there. The only restore I can find is under the storage tab.

Restore - how to and what's required?

I tried to FTP the file in. No errors, but when I look under the Storage Content tab, there's nothing there.
