i've never seen this, and as its not recommended by proxmox use it at your own risk... best to ahve a play and see what you think to it.

What can you tell us about the original server that you are migrating? Is it physical/virtual? OS? have you tried the mergeide.reg trick if necessary? when you boot up the VM do you see anything? a BSOD?

I've always used clonezilla an not had any issues... boot the VM using a live CD and go from there :)

i'm guessing that you are forwarding the ports incorrectly - i dont know much about minecraft BUT i assume that you will need to port forward to the internal IP for the minecraft server and NOT the proxmox server in fact i wouldnt give the proxmox external access at all, keep it available only...

I would use the backup/restore function and restore it to a different machine ID - so taht you have an identical clone which you can then change the machine settings afterwards.

if it was a production server i would definately want those elsewhere to diagnose any system failures.

Are you wanting to manage your proxmox host over the internet too? I cnat see any reason why it wouldnt work, just trying to figure out why you would want it to run from wifi instead of ethernet...

how big is the pve-data and how much data is in use? it might have not hung just taken time to run the check...

Are they local disks? you should be able to just create two disks in the VM config and pick which storage they use

sounds like the skynet 5 and 3 nodes need to be powered down and then restarted so that they can be nrought back into the cluster - or shut them all down and power them on indiviualy so that that can only detect the one primary cluster.
