    versuch bitte mal alle unnoetigen kernel mit apt zu entfernen, dann nochmal die ESP aufzuraeumen, und dann nochmal "proxmox-boot-tool refresh" zu machen.

    you are using proxmox-boot-tool with grub, so you don't need systemd-boot and should remove it. you can then do the upgrade, and afterwards, install systemd-boot-efi and systemd-boot-tools (this is just so you can easily switch later on if you want to).

    so it was an I/O issue after all, just not a usual one :-P glad it cleared up!

    such issues are usually caused by DNS propagation problems, there's not much *we* can do about that.. you can double-check with an online service that queries DNS from a lot of sites across the globe to see how fast the TXT record is visible
