Can someone give some insight if proxmox is using any type of compression for live migration? at least for the ram transfer, i know qemu has this feature - but it does not seem to be used (see info migrate_capabilities below)...

maybe this is of interest for anybody who is using proxmox with samba/cifs and has observed performance issues. i have searched for this for a while know and had this issue for at least more then a year. recent samba has a fix for it. https://github.com/openzfs/zfs/issues/16490
