This issue happens often when KRBD is enabled and PBS-Backup-Jobs run towards a fast PBS.
So I believe this is a more "often" issue than most people think and should be filed as "bug"...
Well beside the manual watching or dumping the memory at the right moment, I guess while entering the key, it is displayed with "*" and not seen on screen....
However, if he is a friend... why should he do? Because he can? Then he is no friend....
When you add external drive, it might resort boot-order.... There should be a setting in your BIOS to disable this.... it is for good reason that this happens when you add an USB-Drive which has a boot block.....

Looks good so far... testing on a 3 Node Cluster with 88 VMs and 25 CTs currently..... looks promising... balancing by CPU-Load would be nice, but I saw in GitHub, you are on it....
There are some older discussions about KRBD and needing "rxbounce" for Windows Guests over there in redhat....
