Ubuntu guest locking up after migration

Hi All I 've got an issue with Ubuntu 8.04, 9.04 and 9.10 guests where they lock up after live migration but only if I have more than 1 CPU enabled (in the guest config) (I'm upgraded to the latest of everything including the test archive) I'm using both virtio and virtnet, but I have tried...

Survey: Proxmox VE Kernel with or without OpenVZ?

It may not be, I've given it a try and it seems to work ok, but that's not really the point. Your looking for a solution in the medium to long term. For the same reason you support KVM not XEN, we need to look at the preferred option which is LXC. :) hope I've not being to forceful Thanks...

ProxMox on a direct attached shared storage system

INTEL Modular BLADE Server Support/ Experiences

This is actually incorrect, the unit I have on my desk support full shared storage, plus drive cloning. I've had live live-migration working with xenserver, worked a treat. (just costs to much and I wanted KVM) The storage controller has a miniSAS connector which I have plugged an external 16...

ProxMox on a direct attached shared storage system

Hi All My reading of the documentation would seem to indicate that ProxMox is not suited at this time to using on a system which uses direct attached shared storage. (eg Intel Modular Server) These systems have a miniSAS connection between the CPU board (blades or individual servers) and a...

Survey: Proxmox VE Kernel with or without OpenVZ?

Has any one looked at "Linux Containers" as a replacement for OpenVZ. its a part of the lastest kernels and seems to do most of the things OpenVZ can do. http://lxc.sourceforge.net/ Maybe the better option might be to build capability for this into Proxmoz and over the phase out openVZ. Would...
