VM is Debian bullseye with GPU passthrough which has been giving me some issues, I'd like to test whether q35 will improve it. Just switching to q35 causes it to hang on boot unless I remove the GPU passthrough, but even then, it loses network connectivity. I presume the issue is it was...

In hardware options for the Win11 VM, if you change the machine type to q35, that resolved the issue for me.

All works fine on my production 7.0-13 server, my desktop VM now passes W11 health checks. I don't want W11 on it, but thats another matter :)

Or they could wait until current test stuff makes its way into the main release, I imagine it will be soon as W11 compatibility is a big deal.

Nope, it doesn't, fails the CPU test. I imagine there's some flags you can set though, haven't looked into it yet.

Yes Not that I have observed, have tested it a fair bit. Just changes the qemu arguments when starting the vm, has no effect on the actual pool. And it made a significant difference to my io.
