Your laptop is rj45 cable connected and DHCP is not assigning it an ip address. Have you checked that wifi is disabled/turned off on that laptop? Maybe the laptop wants to use wifi before lan cable...

Maybe your onboard nic is connected with the USB hub/controller on the motherboard. A Raspberry Pi also has this construction. Can you connect the keyboard to another USB port, if there are any free? (at the front of the pc perhaps) Or see what lsusb gives for output, you can see the USB ports...

Just what gurubert says, you can run Proxmox on it. You can also add an extra (Intel) network card in a free pci-e slot, but I'm pretty sure that will not be necessary.

So your PVE host has 32GB memory and you are running a CT with 30GB memory.... That is a tight fit. As you mentioned yourself, decrease the CT memory.
