PM VE 2.0 installation Problem in Debian Squeeze

Hi: I am trying to test the PM VE 2.0 as specified at: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Squeeze However, I encountered similar to http://serversupportforum.de/forum/300068-post3.html: I added contrib and nonfree to the sources.list also and ran apt-get -f install...

    Proxmox VE 1.9 released!

Wonderful work. You deserve appreciation and thanks for the hard work. But I encountered a few issues after upgrade from 1.8 to 1.9 as of below informing for your perusal: 1) The machine reboots without any errors (nothing in dmesg output) on times. This never happened before for about more...

    Largest Proxmox Install?

@clusterhq! New to this kind of setup, so could you kindly elaborate a bit about the technicalities about your setup. How you achieved it? I meant where ISPConfig3 are installed, in HN or VEs? If VEs, what did you use as reverse proxy to redirect to the sites in shared hosting? Appreciate if you...

0.9 installed but the outside world could not reach

no I can't. Is this firewall issue in the router? But if that is the case I can connect to the Internet using the proxmox server like apt-get update and upgrade works without any problem. What should I need to do in router , any iptables command to make the proxmox server accessible?

0.9 installed but the outside world could not reach

I was impressed by the Proxmox installer (0.9Beta), the installation went extremely well which was not working with 0.9 in the same machine. But I could not reach the Proxmox at https://ipaddress when I try to get with another machine. Obviously the Proxmox machine is behind a router and the...

    Installation goes blank

Erwin123: Thank you for sharing your experience. But that is not in my case as I handle four different servers with a kvm switch. However I tried a separate kvm to the server that I wanted to install proxmox in, yet without success. Like tom stated above, it may have to do something with...

    Installation goes blank

In that case, I will follow the vanilla way described here: http://wiki.openvz.org/HA_cluster_with_DRBD_and_Heartbeat However I am just wondering whether this has to do anything with this bug: http://bugs.donarmstrong.com/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=484098

    Installation goes blank

Thanks, tom: But I am just wondering if I create let us say a 64-bit OVZ on hardware node and want to install on one of the VE with 64 debian etch the binaries I see at: ftp://pve.proxmox.com/debian/dists/etch/pve/binary-amd64/ Is that possible or that needs a tweak?

    Installation goes blank

I downloaed the proxmox iso and then burnt it on a CD and then popped it into the machine, but to my surprise, the screen goes blank after I press enter after the 'proxmox splash screen' and the installer CD also stops spinning. No output, no error messages. :( Any pointers?
