I agree.. Something is wrong. If you do `grep c_max /proc/spl/kstat/zfs/arcstats` the value returned is 6299265024, which is half my physical RAM on install. I created /etc/modprobe.d/zfs.conf and add the line options zfs zfs_arc_max=4294967296 which is being ignored.
well, in a cluster scenario aren't the hosts supposed to be sharing the same storage anyway? So it is no surprise that Proxmox thinks that 2 volumes with the same mount are actually the same single shared storage...
You could try using Bittorrent Sync of Syncthing to replicate the storage volumes. I've never tested it, but its an idea I've been thinking about. Also, I don't think ZFS will be as tough of an administrative task as you imagine, especially once its setup. There are also many tutorials on...
Hey,
Wondering if anyone has used Bittorrent Sync or Syncthing to create pseudo shared storage to for a Cluster. I am wondering whether this would work for nodes in separate locations or for created shared nothing clusters.
Re: Proxmox VE - IPv6 Problems
I believe it was the same issue. I use Hamachi for lots of VPN stuff. It would start fine for like 1-5 minutes then fail. Once I swtiched host/guest over to 3.10 kernel it was all good. But yes, no Containers, all VMs. If I switched Hamachi to use IP4 only...
install Hamachi VPN and XRDP on your guests.... then you don't have to do anything with proxmox itself as the remote viewing is all handled by the guest VM.
