I know :)
I first tried with lvm-thin backed-up storage (SSD) and then I move the disk image to ceph which is pretty fast (1000 write / 1800 read Mb/s with rados test benchmark)
=> same results.
What kind of logs do you need ?
Here is a PBS backup for a linux VM :
datastore : 1 x fast SAS SSD 400 Gb
I thought it should be better
Again, with a single SATA disk for my datastore, I have the same results.
On both servers, all cores are not at 100 % (some few cores at 7-10 % max during few seconds) and no iowaits.
Hi,
I received my Dell PowerEdge R540 with :
2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4208 CPU @ 2.10GHz ( 16 cores / 32 threads )
64 gb RAM
LACP Bond 2 x 25 Gb with DAC cables
ZFS datastore :
RaidZ 5 x 4 TB sata disks + special device 2 x TOSHIBA KPM5XMUG400G 400gb Sas 12gbps (mirrored)...
Hi,
I'm facing the same issue with the same network cards (25 GB Broadcom 57414).
Did you solve your problem with linux bridge ? Is OVS working with these cards ?
Thanks in advance !
HI,
For me Tuxis PBS crashed/was not available since yesterday 21:00 GMT +2
Again I had to restart pvestatd. I also had to kill all '/usr/bin/proxmox-backup-client status ' processes on one node
Glad to see that Tuxis PBS was upgraded to v0.9 (what's new for 0.9 ?)
Hi,
Here is the scenario :
PVE node has 2 PBS configured
PVE node always backup on PBS1
PBS2 pull all PBS1's datastore via Syncjobs
----
For any reason, if PBS1 is not available, backup to PBS2 fails
Hi,
Something is wrong this morning :
On 2 clusters with Tuxis PBS :
The cluster seems to be OK - VMs are running normally
nothing interesting on syslog
Hi,
After rebooting a whole cluster (node by node), it is impossible to access the PBS.
Everything is up to date.
