With Remote-Viewer on Windows 10 its greyed out. Maybe it an unix-only feature actually.
I will play around with this workaround. If i find some issues i will report them. Thank you.
It was an flash drive.
I have done this by going the simple way:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/USB_Devices_in_Virtual_Machines
I've never tried it with qm monitor.
The clipboard works very well in the html5 spice client. USB redirect does not work. But it does not work for the native spice console in proxmox ve, too. Or do i have something missed out?
Thank you very much. This works well. Is there any chance that this will work in the future without this...
Hi dcsapak,
i'm sad to hear. The HTML5 VNC client is very usefull but i'm using clipboard synchronisation, resolution resizing and some other features exclusiv to the spice console.
And when i'm using qxl as vga adapter the noVNC client is unusable with Windows guests (mouse position not fits...
Maybe sounds stupid but have you tried antoher usb device? Or did you tried your USB device with e.g. win7 guest?
I have tried it with an USB Storage and it works very well. Proxmox VE 4.4-13/7ea56165 and Windows Server 2016.
Was auch...
Hi Folks,
i found an interesting project called eye OS Spice Web Client. I know there are an official Web Client for Spice in development. But its still experimental and not full of features like the Windows or Linux nativ client.

http://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/support/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products/000005504.html
Have you read the wiki article linked in you first thread? https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Convert_OpenVZ_to_LXC
If you have the vzdump command in 2.1 it should work. This create only an tar archiv with the whole content of your container and some additional information. The settings have to be...
Is the path aviable /dev/pve/vm-101-disk-1 ?
Did you tried to read the disk with e.g. fdisk?
fdisk -l /dev/pve/vm-101-disk-1
And what says
lvdisplay pve
I have to admit that i've never used virtual volumes.
The safest way is by pyhsically disconncting the RAID disks before installing the new Proxmox version.
Normally you can choose a disk for the installation in the setup assistent. The other disks will not touched normally. Then you can redeclare you storages and import the backuped config files...
I don't see any reason for going over each release. By using the described way you only backup you VMs and restore the VMs within the new version. There is no migration or something else. So i don't know why you want to go step by step.
The only important thing is to migrate the OpenVZ to LXC...
