I have two diffrent setups. The bigger one is with a dedicated bacula server. The other smaller one is with bacula on the proxmox host itself. But i have plans to change this and install bacula in a own VM.

I actually don't use it. I don't think that bareos will develope a deep integration like this. But I use Bacula community edition with Proxmox ve since many years and it works very well.
