Having issue with PVE 8.0 booting. I get EFI boot mode detected, mounting efivars filesystem and never complete booting. When I try PVE 7.4 it works fine. But did previously have issue with 7.4 but after disable secure boot it worked. Not sure what happening with 8.0.

Having same issue... Recently bought new server from Microcenter and now trying to install proxmox 7.4.1 and getting same issue. Is this problem with 7.4??? How can get more detail on the graphics card?

I have read the below comments via thread below and noted Proxmox don't support secure boot yet. Comment was since July/2019. Wondering when they will support this feature? Not fully sure of the pros & cons disabling secure boot. I guess i will just disable for now...

Hi, yes I believe Secure Boot is enabled. Just been reading up on secure boot. I read its a useful feature to keep enable. Any info as to why Proxmox don't support it? Is there any work around to install proxmox having it enabled?

I'm trying new install of Proxmox 7.3. I've downloaded and burned the iso image on usb using rufus. But, when it tries to boot i get grub error: "prohibited by secure boot policy" (see image). Anyone experience this? Thanks in advance for any feedback to fix issue.

Not sure if or what I may be doing wrong. My new install of proxmox 4.2-2 and I do a update/upgrade via the gui and reboot. The package list stills show proxmox-ve manager at 4.2-2 ??? I'm trying to do a successful update to 4.2-12 or higher.
