I was looking at deploying BGP EVPN on MS SONiC loaded onto white box switches. Then, I came across this notice and then this thread for SDN on Proxmox. I'm a newbie to SDN. How would one go about tying in Proxmox SDN deployment with physical switches running MS SONiC and BGP EVPN? I'm...
Is there any news/fix for this issue yet? The most recent updates have not resolved the problem. This is sort of a big deal for anyone that is attempting to upgrade live systems to Proxmox 4.
Faye,
Thank you for your input. I'm sure it will be helpful to others.
For my situation, however, it isn't the same problem. My scenario comes from an openVZ container that had been imported to LXC.

Chris Wathan
Gentlemen,
I don't want to hijack this thread but, I believe I'm having the exact same issue the OP is experiencing. As the OP hasn't responded I'll provide the results of dietmar's request from my system.

I know Proxmox does not offer support for items delivered in no-sub but, has anyone tried using NoVNC on OS X w/ any of the common browsers?
Status of NoVNC with common OS X browsers:
(Latest)
Safari: Loads... Returns: "Server Disconnected Code: 1006"
Firefox: Loads... Does not seem to...
OK. Is there a particular reason OpenVZ containers are not supported on LVM groups? (I'm a traditional Solaris guy so OpenVZ containers are something new to me.)
Is it possible to specify an LVM group as the storage target for OpenVZ containers? At the present time my install has a directory that lists the content as Images, ISO, Templates, Containers. I do not seem to be able to do this with LVM storage. Could someone point me in the right direction...
Look, don't be a jerk. It is absolutely a clean ISO install, as I have already stated. Your responses have essentially been calling me a liar and not knowing what version of VE I am installing. Your comments were not constructive. I will use Tom's suggestions in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Any ProxMox staff care to respond to this?! I am vary interested in the product. I have played around with it in a VMware VM and believe it could be a great product. But, not being able to successfully install the product on a physical system with, what should be, a fairly common...
Marco,
It was indeed a VE 3.2 install (downloaded both via bittorrent AND direct from the ProxMox download page). It was a typical install in terms of settings as there are very few in the GUI installer. No guide was followed. Only the on screen instructions were followed. I am not aware of...
I have attempted to install ProxMox VE 3.2 multiple times onto a Kingston V series SSD drive. In each case the installation would reach the point of "making system bootable," at which point it would indicate the install failed. I examined the verbose messages and saw the following errors.
