Upgraded from PVE 5.x to 6.x following the upgrade instruction and the reboot resulted into
"cannot import rpool no such pool or dataset"
However, I can boot using the kernel 4.15.18.18-pve and everything else seems fine.
Wasn't there some while ago the same issue when introducing 4.8...
One minor but important observation to please fix in the documentation.

Sorry but I hook on that thread here as I believe I have the very same issue and I don't see any response here from the OP.
All 4.13.(4-1,8-1,8-2) are causing the same issue as the screenshot.
pve-kernel-4.10.17-5-pve works flawless.
I'm running on Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2660 0 @ 2.20GHz

Hi, my apologies upfront if this is a very stupid question but I don't get it and it's freaking me out, not understanding it.
Can anyone please educate me.
For the record Proxmox 5.0-5/c155b5bc BETA but I doubt that has anything to do with my question.
I used the full ZFS install so I ended...
That worked fine thanks a lot.
As requested above I open a bug on bugzilla

ps: if anyone cares:
vi /etc/fstab
insert
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs nodiratime 0 0
Hi, went back to install Proxmox 4.3-70 after some while to test the lxc.
However when creating an Ubuntu (16.04 and 14.04) LXC Container from a template downloaded through Storage content, and trying to add my id_rsa.pub ssh-key file using the "load SSH key file" button, at the end of the...
Version 3.2Hi, is there any starting point documentation from Proxmox for the new OVS? I cant get my head around it and I'm surely missing something.I'm through the general OpenVswitch Documentation available and I was able from the commandline to replace my old vmbr0 with "vmbr1 OVS bridge" and...
Ok I need to apologize and correct myself. its my Chrome and my lastpass.
it somehow messes with the root password in the proxmox gui.
I tried with firefox without lastpass and all worked fine. then disabled lastpass in chrome and see it works and takes the password.
might be outdated but you can access the ovz from the proxmox shell by using
vzlist to show the running ct
vzctl enter ctid without any need of a password
and change the password inside by using passwd root
However I just spotted that something must be broken because creating new CT using the...
Hi, Could anyone enlighten me please and or point me to the right documentation where I could read up on something that I haven't seen on Proxmox 2.x.
I know its not a strictly supported way but I did run my openvz containers on zfs native (compressed and deduplicated) for quite some while and...
Hi Lousek,
May I ask you please if you have a how-to for installing a proxmox 2x cluster with DRBD? I assume you do so without a shared storage? Also how did you setup a fencing over the network ? I tried a few Howtos but none of them really worked so far. I too like to build a test dev...
Its weekend .. you may need to show a bit patience. I do agree and woulld have ven a few more points to add for a future wishlist. IM a big fan of OpenQRM which allows some billing modules and self provisioning and manageing of vms. Some features likme this in proxmox would make it even more than...
looks like a screwup in you apt dependencies.
try this
sudo dpkg --configure --pending
and see what it tells you to fix.
I have installed Proxmox several times on top of Debian Squeeze by following this. There are sometimes some other dependencies I need to solve...
http://www.solaris-cookbook.com/WP-Cookbook/linux/debian-kanotix-proxmox-install-zfs-native/
zfs native works like a charm with openvz containers and using compression and deduplication. I feel its much faster than ext and uses just a bit of space.
However under KVM I experienced heavy...
Re: Repartition Proxmox to make a ZFS slice
I'm running 2 vz and 3 KVM on ZFS without any issues.
I admit I'm close to insanity because I use ZFS for compression and deduplication.
While I got a fabulous 1.71 for vz and kvm images I must say that performance is really low. (like days/kb)...
