Hi,
Thx for your feedback.
so on your side it was an external network problem.
My nodes are located on differents DC but on same L2 network
I investigate further
Hi,
One of my nodes have the same behavior
KNET host 1 link: 1 is down
My cluster design is made with 2 ring so there is no impact but we need to anderstand this.
I placed captures of corosync trafic on each node.
On your side did you notice something else ?
Hi Spirit,
First I recommand some Mellanox wiki pages
Second one is related kernel vdpa device ;)

Hi
I am working with proxmox hypervisors since a few years, 5.3 , 6.2 and now 7.x
considering that we virtualize routers we are always looking for better packet processing performance.
After some reseach we decide to focus on hardware acceleration solution based on mellanox connectx-5 and 6

Hello,
I have successfully tested a pve VXLAN-EVPN setup with pci passthrough and switchdev (mlx5 mode eswitch) .
However, the 127 VF limit is too restrictive. That's why I'm looking for another more scalable solution.
I noticed that mellanox offers in addition to the usual sr-iov devices (PF...
Hello,
When we introduced proxmox for virtualizing some routers we noticed that virtio nics order in qemu guest can shift when removing a vnics that is not the last one
So we accept this behavior and defined best practice that consist to never remove virtio vnics.
During sriov experimentation...
Hello,
After several years of using proxmox to virtualize our routers we are now looking to increase network performance.
Recently we are evaluating sriov as a virtio successor. It works very well !
For the moment it seems pretty stable and the performance is clearly superior to virtio.
During...
hum , sorry I m back (one more time !)
I m testing removing one node and I need a little clarification at this step
first remove the qdevice: pvecm qdevice remove
the command need to be executed on all the cluster nodes ? or just the node that is to be reinstalled ?
thank you for this procedure.
what is worry me is if I remove the quorum device and a node, the resulting node will be isolated and will perhaps shut down because corosync does not have enough votes.
In my experience of Cluster 2nodes in PVE5.3 without qdev I have to set exceptionally corosync...
Hi,
Based on the documentation I understand that I need to remove qdevice before adding node to cluster.
I don t know how to do that in secure manner.
Otherwise I can restore node files like /var/lib/pve-cluster/config.db but I don t know what exact files I need to import and what the exact...
Hello,
After proxmox installation, someone known if it is possible to change the contact email address specified in the proxmox installation wizard ?
The documentation does not specifiy if we can edit the user.cfg file or if there is an option in proxmox WEBUI...
thank you
regards.

Does Proxmox team know this behavior ?
is there a way to retreive scaling governor options ?
thx
pve-firewall replicates ebtables chains and rules from nat and brouting tables into the filter table.
proxmox-ve: 6.2-2 (running kernel: 5.4.78-2-pve)

Hi,
On proxmox 6.2-12 (Version pve-manager/6.2-12/b287dd27) kvm does not work and return an error when upgrading pve-qemu-kvm to version >= 5.0.0-8
It works when I downgrade to 5.0.0-5
kvm --version

is there an unsatisfying dependency...
Hi,
Apparently this is a problem that occurs very rarely.
for several months we monitor CPU time, hw and system clocks, everything is perfectly synchronized, no drift.
It is unlikely but possible that it is a broken NTP server coupled with the fact that the node allows an unjustified time jump...
