    primary node unrecoverable cluster

There is no "primary" node. What do you mean you have "rexed" proxmox? Reinstalled? If so: Remove the old node from the cluster and add the new one. Just follow the guide: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Cluster_Manager#_remove_a_cluster_node

Ceph Cluster Installation - why fast SSD for OS?

Work? Yes. The question is: How long :) SD Cards are not known to be very write-friendly and PVE _will_ kill normal SD Cards in a matter of months (or even weeks in a cluster).* I don't know if there are enterprise-grade SD-cards but the SanDisk Industrial cards may be a good start. * I have a...

    ha-storage with two Nas

Also the two qnaps won't be able to do HA even if you have 3PVE servers. You'd need to ensure that the data is always in sync which is (afaik) not possible with qnap.

    local-lvm path?

Yes it does - it seems that you don't know what LVM is. You need to know this if you want to find the location of the VM image.

Correct. But why do you want to use PVE 3.3? It's way too old. You should use 5.X

IO at 100% in VM, Host is at ~10-20%

Hi, thanks for your time. The Raid6 has been faster before but after extensive testing it seems that it is indeed the bottleneck. Sorry for taking your time and thanks for your input.

IO at 100% in VM, Host is at ~10-20%

Hi, the host is only at 45% IO (maximum value btw), the VM is always at 100%. This is why I'm a little dumbfolded. I know that Raid6 is not very fast but it should be way faster than 40-50MB/s?! Thanks for the answer, but changing to Raid10 is not possible right now (the hardware will be phased...
