Hi
Here is what I did - if someone else can use it :)
(I could not find how to upgrade 4.4 to latest in the official guide)
01. /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian jessie main contrib
# PVE pve-no-subscription repository provided by proxmox.com,
# NOT recommended for...
btw. should I modify the sources.list in anyway? ( to get 4.4 upgraded first)?
And I guess I need to disable the "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list"
Thanks
I have enterprise license on my production machine, but not my test VM.
1. apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
2. reboot
- should upgrade to latest 4.4 or?
How should I fix the repositories then?
Thanks
Hi
I am planning to upgrade my production PVE 4.4 to 5.1 and did some initial testing on a VM.
A fresh PVE 4.4 with ZFS mirror boot and one small data ZFS pool -> https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_4.x_to_5.0 on
But after reboot, webgui is not working and upgrade seems faulty - I tried...
alright - this could be a promox installation on a USB stick? - when upgrading to 5.1 will the ZFS pools also be upgraded?
(I will try it on a VM setup first)
Hi
I currently have 4.4-1 booting from a zfs mirror. I want to upgrade to 5.1 when it has been released.
Can I used ZFS snapshots to have a rollback option if the in-place upgrade should fail for any reason?
Do I need to perform anything special in regards to ZFS also being upgraded on 5.1...
I removed attic (I am using borg instead) - do I have to configure something special to get the email to work - besides "
ZED_EMAIL_ADDR"
Is there an easy way to test the alerting/emails?
Thanks again
Thanks, I get this error when trying to install it

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:

Hi
How do I upgrade ZFS to the latest version on proxmox 4.4 - or will it be included in proxmox 5.0?
https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/releases/tag/zfs-0.7.0
Thanks
Felix
I am sure it wil work just fine. I just want to be sure I know what to do when I have migrated all the ESX VMs and have the SAN available for proxmox.
I tried to test a two node cluser running on ESX, but I can't assign the same disk to each of the nodes - so can't really test it.
So the I...
