This is most certainly a Safari bug / issue but I just wanted to see if other had the same issue.
When I'm applying updates to my PVE and PBS instances from the web interface, the console gets opened in a new window, I press "Y" to acknowledge the updates and the update process starts. I would...
I started getting a few error messages this morning since my backups were failing. After checking, I realized that the fingerprint changed on my pbs servers.
That probably happened because the PBS server certificates were updated with the ACME process.
1) Is it possible anyhow that the...
I have a similar error that I just can't get rid of.
1) my pool RZ2-1_1-4_4TB is reporting online and it is working well
2) the pool wd_7disks_rz2 is not existing since a long time.
In both cases I get the [FAILED] Failed to start Import ZFS pool poolname at each boot.
How can I correct this ...
I have this strange issue since recently (don't know when that started) accessing my vms console on my other nodes when connected on the gui from the node1. My cluster has 3 nodes in total and the following is working :
-Accessing vm console of node1 from node1 gui (local)
-Accessing vm console...
I was wondering if there was any chance that this could be fixed in the near future ?
For now I don't know if this is the best thing to do but I added a cron job at each boot to run :
for i in $(ls -1 /dev/zd* |grep -v '/dev/zd[0-9]*p[0-9]*'); do udevadm trigger $i; done
If I dont, my vms dont...
... So maybe, just to recenter that thread to what I was originally looking for (and that was not a pseudo fight between hdd/sdd), finding a solution in order to take advantage of Cloud storage for long term / cold backups... Maybe that wouldn't be so hard to implement something to support such...
Without been so radical I still agree that backups should support slower devices / disks....
My other solution at this time ( And this is not realistic from the $ perspective) is to build a PBS vm in Azure and turn in ON/OFF based on the backup sync schedule with my on prem PBS instance. Still...
I'm trying to find an efficient way to store backups in the Cloud using Azure storages.
In the cloud, I've setup a container, enabled stfp support on it; on the pbs server I've installed sshfs and mount the storage volume.
So far so good. But when I try to add that mount point as a local pbs...
I know this thread is quite old but since some of my backups are stored on ssd drives I was concerned about this comment regarding how intensive on disks the verification process can be. Does this mean that verification involves a lot of writting to the disks ? (Not sure to understand the "+hash...
Correct. That's why I was suggesting that if it is complicated to rename the dumpfile itself maybe it would be easier to take advantage of the "comment" field itself. That would make it easier for users to define whatever information they want next to the backup file itself if that comment would...
Is there a way the content of the field "comment" could follow the backups on the PBS servers ?
I used to take advantage of vzdump-rename script when I was dumping my backups locally in order to rename backups the way we like it but this is not working with pbs so I was wondering if you had any...
So while running the following code is working temporarly to fix the problem I was wondering if anything could be done to fix this completely or if any fix would be created in the near future to avoid running the command at every reboot ? Should a bug report be openned ? I'm just asking because...
I have the same problem (not beeing able to log in the gui if the second node of a cluster of 2 is down.
"pvecm expected 1" is not working for me as it returns :
Unable to set expected votes: CS_ERR_INVALID_PARAM
Thats, when the 2 nodes are on. As soon as I shutdown the second node I can run...
I started playing with clustering and my goal is to replicate vms from one node to another while keeping the replicated vm shutdown until needed. No HA here for now. I understand that NFS / ISCSI accessible storages might be required to do so but I'm not there yet since both nodes are using...
As you can see I installed the dark theme of Weilbyte on github and I am very happy with it.
However, I would like to know if there is a way to define somewhere that all dropdown menus are compact by default and not the opposite? On hosts that have a lot of disks it can get confusing for...
I do have a zfs pool where I store some vm.
One of these vm is pfSense.
When installing pfSense on the vm, the defaults are now to install it using zfs, which I did.
So far so good.
But why now when I run zpool import on the host I get the following :
root@pve:~# zpool import
pool: pfSense...
