Thanks swartz for your reply. I've not seen any mips64 VMs. That would be ideal since the makefiles usually don't allow for cross compiles and I could just compile natively. Up to this point I use a spare device to compile what I need albeit much more slowly than would be possible on a VM...

If I right click the VM from the web gui and choose console a window appears and I can log in and type upper case chars just fine. CAPS Lock works for me too.
