We are running a Proxmox Cluster with PVE 6.3-3. Each node is connected to ceph and has a ceph client installed.
On a single node we have accitentally a ceph server installed. /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ceph.list How can we remove this ceph server without interfereing with our Proxmox...
Thanks, Moayad. The PVE 5.4-15 Upgrade was our first step towards 6.x. Since we upgrade on a live cluster, the system needs to run at the intermediate steps.
Yesterday we upgraded our entire Proxmox Cluster from PVE 5.4-5 to PVE 5.4-15 and Corosync to 3.x. Since then NFS mounts on some nodes are occasionally not available. Anyone else having similar problems? - We are now deleting/adding the NFS mounts again. Hope that will resolve the issues.
I am testing PBS on a virtual machine. I have now given the VM two additional hard drives. How can I tell PBS on which of the three hard drives to do the backups? Directly in the PBS interface?
Can I create a new VM (with a new ID) from a backup that I made earlier? i.e. I do not want to restore the old VM but want to base a new one on the old snapshot.
The first backup of a new virtual machine is full. I assume the next backups are only incremental i.e. differential. Or is Proxmox coping the full content every time?
Instead of rolling back multiple differential backups, it is faster to restore a complete full backup. See https://www.bareos.org
I have got a month-worth of daily differential backups of a virtual machine. Now I would like to combine them to a single full backup. Would be easier to restore from such a full backup.
Is this possible with Proxmox Backup Server 1.0-1?
