yes ;)
So that's an API key? With a reference to the machine name. And then ports and the user again?
yes, the pbs is connected to pve using api key and it works (see #999)
But I have no idea, why the new LXC #998 uses a different user or where this user is set or where I can change it?
heya
tuxis is a hosted PBS service, where I don't have much access to
Regarding the little guy: _where_ should I click it? the faulty machine with the ID 998 is _not_ shown there? so therefore I can't change it's settings?
The working machine #999 has User and API Token to choose from; again...
Heya
In your black and white screenshot: what should I change? As you can see from my screenshot, there is no #998 container (which is the faulty one)?
Regarding shell: as I have said, it is a tuxis machine and I don't have access (Connection failed (Error 403: Forbidden))
Hi all
I have a running PVE 8.2.4 which has a linked PBS (which is over at tuxis.nl) and backups are working fine.
Yesterday I've moved a LXC container from an old PVE 6.x to the new PVE instance, booted it up and everything works, apart from the PBS.
Here the logs showing the woking machine...
hi bofh (like that name btw, hope it has to do with the book)
I thought using the LARA and a USB installer would do the same thing, just a bit easier?
or does that not work?
Heya
Been reading up on this thread and still am not 100% sure I follow it all.
I would like to install Proxmox 6 on a Hetzner Server (2 NVMEs, 2 SATAs) and I thought that asking for a bootable USB stick would allow me to boot the installer an Proxmox will take care of the zfs? (at least for...
Thankfully I found this post.
This process seemed to work: open the proxmox GUI in Safari, click on "Show Details", then "visit the website" and allow it, open "Keychain Access.app" and fully trust the certificate (open up the "Trust" triangle and change the first dropdown to "Always Trust")...
Ok, proxmox is not at fault, it is my DNS / Firewall.
Thanks for your quick help tom!
(by adding the server manually in /etc/hosts/ I could reach them, ruling out proxmox as the problem)
No :/
I have the host running at px.xx.yy, and I can access the GUI at https://px.xx.yy:8006
The DNS is entered into the Firewall an all is good.
First VM is test.xx.yy, DNS is entered, and ping works.
AFAIK the ping will ask the router (= DNS) for the IP of the FQDN and then will send the...
the node is using 172.16.16.1 - so thats the ip of the router
vms use host's settings
I can reach the Host using the hostname, just not the vms?
Ping / Traceroute work (which is expected)
Hi
I've installed Proxmox on top of Debian 9, then upgraded everything to Buster & Proxmox 6 (in hope, it might solve my problem), but unfortunately it did not help.
Host and VMs have internet access and everything is fine.
I can access the VMs using their IPs, but not using their Hostname and...
Hallo everybody!
I have a weird problem - at least I think it is.
I have a total of 4 VMs (all Debian) and the backup fails for the last one (which is a newly created duplicate of an existing VM). I am still running 3.4 :(
The short failure log is
If I backup the VM 202 manually, all works...
Heya
I am very sorry to not have updated my issue!
The reboots were caused by faulty RAM which Hetzner replaced promtly (after checking them)
So exactly what @dietmar was suggesting
Sorry to be of no help and not "closing" my topic
Heya all,
there will be a migration of my current Server.
The HDDs (H/W RAID) will be put in a new Server, where the Mainboard may be different but all the other specs should be the same.
Will this work with my current Proxmox instance and the VMs or do I need to reconfigure something?
I was...
heya!
I am running Proxmox on a Hetzner EX 4S with a Hardware Raid an BBU.
Right now there are only two VMs running, a "live system" (Debian 5) and a SVN server (Ubuntu 12).
I was quite shocked to see that the server has rebooted two days ago without my doing of it.
I really do not know why...
