Hello,
As per the subject, has anything changed in this regard?
Last I checked the cloud-init password feature could not be used for Windows guests as it had to be in clear text.
Is there any sort of work to enable the use of clear passwords?

Lucian
Hi,
I've created a public network over 1 Gbps and a cluster network over bonded 10 Gbps, during operation I see the public network maxed out and I'd like to get rid of it completely as it seems a bottleneck.
Is there anyway I can just reset the CEPH component and start over? Would nuking...
Hello,
Is there anyway to interact with the PVE firewall, something like the "qm" utility perhaps?
I need to be able to script setting it up, but it can't be a manual procedure.
Ok, so if anone else is searching it's https://pve.proxmox.com/pipermail/pve-devel/2019-February/035583.html in https://pve.proxmox.com/pipermail/pve-devel/2019-February/subject.html ..
Looks like there are several threads actually. I'll give that a read.
The fact that the machine rebooted on its own is not good. Either RAM or PSU problems...
I would leave it a while running a tool such as "stress" before production, make sure it doesn't succumb to high CPU or RAM usage.
If your VMs are Linux, then NFS would arguably be the easier route to take. If Windows samba would be easier, but both protocols would work eventually, regardless of OS.
I want to fully automate my deployments, don't want to rely on GUI - that's for one.
Two, the featured you mentioned only works if you have entire drives available, whereas I only (for example) have a pair of SSDs which I'd like to use in some sort of RAID1.
Hello,
Are there any plans to support VM replication where QCOW2 files are used?
The reliance of this feature on ZFS-only storage makes things quite complicated and hacky for us. Is there anything we users can do etc?
Regards
On a second thought, installing Proxmox on top of Debian makes ZFS complicated.
If I installed Debian from preseed file, on an ext4 partition, can I then add a second partition, format it ZFS and use it for VMs?
I found out the utility for backups, it's called vzdump right?
How do I script creating a backup schedule?
Realised "qm" can indeed manage snapshots. Double checked the help options and there it was..
