OK, interessant. Bei Plasma5 will er jetzt wissen, welchen Desktop und das soll auf dem entfernten gewählt werden. Also nix mit unbeaufsichtig. Aber mehr als bei Gnome, da geht ja garnichts.. Aber wir schweifen vom Topic ab.. ;)

OK, hab meine Nix Config umgestellt auf KDE. Aber die Warnung im Rustdesk Client kommt trotzdem. Kann natürlich sein, das die 1.3.0. da was fixt..

Version 3.0 ? Also ich nutze auf dem Desktop ja die paketierte Version für NixOS, und die steht bei 1.2.7. Leider geht Wayland noch nicht so wirklich. Zumindest für den Gnome Desktop... Aber das wird sicher noch...

Achja, wegen der Grafikbeschleunigung. Xubuntu habe ich gewählt, weil der Maintainer einer Appliance auf Ubuntu setzt und dafür Pakete liefert, ich aber in der VM möglichst keinen 3D Kram haben will. Debian wäre eine Option, aber das hat denn doch ein paar Seiteneffekte in der Appliance. Wobei...

X2Go. Das nutze ich schon seit einer Weile nicht mehr. Obwohl das eine coole Sache war, weil via Port 22. Mittlerweile bin ich auf Rustdesk umgestiegen, das ganze selfhosted mit zwei kleinen Docker Containern. Und bei einem anderen Netz mit vielen Windows10 Clients einfaches VNC. Tut auch noch...

Moin Kurze Info Ein Xubuntu 24.04 friert zuverlässig und auch regelmäßig ein. In den Logs habe ich Meldungen von QXL gesehen. Ich hatte bisher noch nicht die Zeit genauer hinzuschauen. Hab dann zum Test auf VirtIO GPU umgestellt, was der Virt-viewer und einem anderen Linux auch ohne Probleme...

Hello I've been using the VDI Client on various systems for a while now. And it works really well. My question would be how about updates. Is the whole project maintained for so long that it can be rolled out further? Couldn't Proxmox adopt such a solution and then also maintain it? Cheers

Moin Lese grad was von einer kritischen Schwachstelle in Javascipt Sandbox VM2. Ist das in Proxmox 7.x und/oder dem PBS irgendwo integriert.??

Changed from 7.1.x to the latest 7.2.0-7 and made a reboot and restart of the Debian4 VM. And it worked as expected... Thanks for support

To be honest I don't want to touch the VM anymore. This is an ancient web application that is not scheduled to be used for very long. I'd rather wait for a qemu update in the next few days or weeks. But thanks for this possible solution!

Have tried it. But... With the downgrad it works and it is no problem to wait for a fix...
