Hello, i have an proxmox 1.9 with 2vm one kvm and one openvz machine. i also have a new machine with proxmox 2.1 and now i must migrate the vms from 1.9 to 2.1 but how?

I dont know how to configure this. My settings for the vm are: bridge mode with vmbr0 and virtio for the network card. at my hostsystem i configure the vmbr0 with static ip and let the eth0 unchanged with no entries.

now deactivated the first lan and installed a second, but without success.

after configure the network vmbr0 over the gui it looks like this now i can connect via ssh to the host, but my vm win7 gets now ip from the dhcp. what is wrong? i installed the virtio network red hat driver.

why new disk? i clickt on the button for new vm, top right, ??? if i choose ide and realtek i get a real vm pc on the left. it was in 1.9 easier to create a vm.

which settings for win7 64bit? my last try, with configuratino from the 2008 youtube clip, ends au with an entry in the iso or local storage with no possibility to start or remove. the first try creates an vm entry an the same level as the iso and local store. i hate the id thing to, why not...

Now i tried again and looked at the youtube howto for 2008 server. i used the same settings, but instead auf nfs i used the default image store. now i see the vm in the images folder, but cant start it nor delete it. damn not self explain system, the 1.9 was easy for starting.

ok, i think my fault was to name it iso, because there are allready a dir with this name, or? where have i put the vm through? documentation?
