I have been playing around with the bandwidth rate. Seems that outbound doesn't get limited. Also if i put in 1mb/s download gets limited to about 8/mbs. If i put 0.1/mbs then i get around 1/mbs download. Upload seems to be unaffected by the changes though.

I like the new Proxmox GUI. Looks a lot like convirture 2.0 I was wondering if you guys used some of their source?

I wanted to test our the new 2.0 beta. The install process hangs quickly in the begining. Running debug shows that the isntall stops after probing edd. I tried turning edd off but that did not help. Server: AMD phonom 2 x 6 1100t 12gig of ram. 500GB Sata drive. Any ideas?

I didn't do it my self, but yes i know that a lot of things were striped away. I am not sure that it would effect the memory usage. Things were removed that would not be used in our VM's enviroment. If you want I can find out more information for you.

Thank you for the advice, all of which i am aware:) We have no network problems with the rtl8139 NIC. These are not high network use VM's. These are client VM's and they only purchased 512mb ram against our suggestions. Our VM's don't seem to use as much ram as yours.

I do not believe this is a VNC, Proxmox, VGA Driver problem. I believe this is a explorer problem.

I have around 15 proxmox nodes running. Across all of them my widnows 2008 installs are coming up to a blank desktop with no icons just a light blue screen. This has been happening the past few days across all the nodes... so far about 20 VM's are affected. Is there a update (maybe sp1) that is...

I have the same problem.

I deleted a VM that i shouldn't have. It had not gone through the backup process yet. Is there anyway to recover the data? (Not the VM Config, but the actual hard drive data)

I do not use OpenVZ at all so i am not sure if it will work with it. I would assume if you used the virtual nic assigned to the OpenVZ VM that it would work but i have not tested it.
