    Proxmox and VLANs

...native VLAN 30 but the default VLAN 1, and it is working. The reason I want to set the native VLAN to 30 is that I'm trying to setup one of my wifi SSIDs to use VLAN 30 for my admin devices so they will get an IP in the same subnet as my hardwired devices which are all in the X0 subnet. It...

Try to install Proxmox 9.1 on a old linux server, and get lots of disk IO error.

...but no. I only needed the "iommu=pt" to fix the problem for me in kernel 6.17.x For other searches, relevant (old) hardware: H97 chipset (H97N-WIFI) Intel i5-4590T Kingston V300 (A400) So now I'm also the proud owner of a spare SSD (at current exploded prices), and a nice clean reinstall...

Bug? Installer not seeing network when onboard WIFI enabled

I have a motherboard with onboard WIFI: ASUS B650E-I WIFI mini-ITX When booting into the installer, if I have the onboard WIFI module enabled, the installer is not able to detect the network because it's only trying the WIFI connection (presumably the first network device the installer sees)...

Unfortunately as you can see, it's not working :(. (Ignore the disabled Wifi. I intentionally turned it off and use an ethernet adapter to make sure we are on the same network as the proxmox).

[SOLVED] Can't access Web UI after bulk shutdown my whole VM

Try what @Onslow says. check the layer 1, cable, WiFi.. then make sure you don't have a VLAN set on the switch, and that you can reach your router from the PC. Does the PC has a firewall? :P probably seeing ip a ; ip r ; ip n on the PC will tell you what you need for troubleshooting. Make sure...

Recommendations for virtualized Router/Firewall on Proxmox

I’m looking to route my network traffic through my Proxmox host. The plan is to sit the server between the fiber modem and my mesh WiFi nodes to act as the edge router. The Goal: I need granular control over the traffic passed to the WiFi clients, specifically: DNS/Domain blocking (ad-blocking...

The PCI-E link speed of the Ryzen 9000 series is abnormal.

The same thing happened with MSI's X670E Gaming Plus WiFi, so maybe it's a Ryzen 7000 series or later? This wasn't the case with the Ryzen 5000 series (X570).

    broken text in browser window

...why would the developers include a font with potential for this kind of damage, and put it at the head of the list ? 2 for 2. solved both this and my post on getting USB tethering to work on the host. Not so confident about the third one: getting USB WiFi working. Anyone up for a challenge ?
