So sorry i did not see your message in time!
To setup MDS on same Proxmox+Ceph node i basically followed the same procedure i would use when installing on stand alone Ceph node. I used ceph-deploy mds create <host> command to create MDS. Instead of using existing Proxmox+Ceph node, i actually created a new Ubuntu Server Virtual Machine and used that for MDS. -
