[HOW-TO] Separate migration network - dirty fix

I think that would be great. However, I suggest a drop-down with only the configured network. Serge

[HOW-TO] Separate migration network - dirty fix

Would it make sense to define a variable "migrateip"? We could set it at a similar location as for localip (for example set migrateip to localip initially so the code works the same as it is now). We could even make it part of the GUI at a later date as a drop-down to select the available...

What CPU are you emulating on your VM? Serge

Slow Network, High CPU Usage, Large data files,

Reduce your Memory MAX for the VM. You do not want to allocate all your RAM to the VM. Proxmox needs some to run well as well. I suggest MAX 24 GB to see if it makes a difference. Serge

all nodes red - but quorum - can not find any error

Yes, I mean hardware. Just check the connections (remove/re-connect. Make sure it "clicks" and you have the light. Ping and multicast may work but the cable may be incorrectly set in place. Also, check to see if the interface does not show any error. Just saying. It is an easy thing to check.

I saw this happening before. Check your network cabling. It is an easy thing to check. Serge

    Proxmox VE 3.4 released!

It is my impression that there seems to be quite a bit of issues with v3.4. To my opinion, quite a few more than on previous version upgrades v3.0 to v3.3. Some issues are old and recurring and some issues have to do with new features. Although a few experienced users indicated the upgrade...

I may be incorrect but I am thinking your Monitors are not on your cluster network. Serge

Creating a cluster with different versions

Backup all your VMs to separate storage first... I would also backup /etc. Just in case you need to restore from backup due to a failed upgrade. Serge

    Backups

Sorry for delay in responding. I missed your last question. You have to create storage within the Proxmox GUI by choosing the WD MyCloud as NFS and indicate it is to be used for Backup (or anything else you want). The new storage location will be visible on each Proxmox host on the cluster...

    GUI Speed

I´m the same. Just imagine my surprise when the speed was so much faster... The Mac Book Air is an I5. Everything else I used in the past is slow in comparaison. There must be a reason. Serge

    GUI Speed

How fast is your Linux or Windows machine? What Processor? Serge

    GUI Speed

I have always experienced slow performance in the new web GUI of Proxmox 3+. I thought it was normal. Accessing it from Android browsers or Windows browsers take some time to see any changes in the display after each action. Switching Host, tabs within each hosts to view configuration is...

Playing with Proxmox but struggling... (unable to copy ssh id)

Make sure your hosts file is defining your hosts properly and that you can ping the hosts from each-other. Serge
