Proxmox VE Diagrams (Early Preview)

Hi Everyone!

I've been cooking up something good lately for the community and I hope to receive some feedback on it before I finish the first phase! I've decided to embark on a journey in visual communication, not only because my day job revolves around it, but because I think I can amplify the subject matter that I already teach to those who I mentor. Today's first preview diagram is the first in a set that will eventually become what I hope to be a well thought-out and intentionally comprehensive blog post on Proxmox VE Clustering. The post will rely on tables and diagrams to help readers better understand the subject matter, and I'm thinking of making more of these for different aspects of Proxmox VE's current architecture and functions. Anyway, enough chatter, the sneak preview is attached.

I would be really grateful to receive feedback from anyone here on what I've shared today, and I'm really looking forward to putting my skills to good use in an ongoing capacity.
Thanks all!

Good morning afternoon Proxmox community!

While I haven't received any written feedback yet, I'm glad to receive some thumbs up! I've been patiently waiting and attempting to not over-think that first preview diagram for now by occupying myself with additional diagrams. After getting the first set of clustering diagrams pretty organized, I'm switching gears now into storage. I'm not quite happy with what I'm intending to be the "showpiece" or main diagram that I'll use to help spotlight the storage diagrams, but I've got a simpler ZFS RAID visualization diagram ready and I think community feedback would be really helpful. It's nearly as flashy but it was much more straight forward to finish.

Anyway, please let me know what you think!
Cheers,

Good afternoon everyone!

It's been a few days and I've been busy lately with British Columbia's provincial election and finding ways to inadvertently fill what little spare time I make for myself like writing about a book printing machine or asking my community to help photograph regional library branches for Wikipedia. However! As I'm waiting for a big opportunity to come through, I thought I'd continue this fun project some more.

Many little diagrams are now done, but more interestingly, I've also finished another large diagram! Or almost finished, it's a preview still. This time it's the Live Migration Timeline, which is really neat actually. I think this one will help a lot of folks understand not only the overall process, but the reasons for certain kinds of delays faced during live migrations. Many times I have sat waiting for huge VMs to move, and many times I have faced stumbling blocks, whether due to slow storage, or due to network performance issues, and sometimes for less clear reasons...

Anyway, I hope that this helps and that I can gather some feedback for the final project!
Thanks,

Tmanok
