NTP Not synced correctly

You didn't answer any of my questions. Can you ping 8.8.8.8? Can you ping google.com? Can you ping the gateway? That all has to work before NTP can work.

I have never seen an ISP router set up like you say yours is.

I cannot ping 8.8.8.8 nor google.com, I cannot ping my gateway either, I am sorry for being so dense.
 
I figured it out! The ip on the switch had changed, so there was no way to reach the internet, my bad for the inconvenience.

Just curious as to why this wouldn't be something that is set in the GUI under "Time". Also could this somehow get added into the Installer ( you set the timezone but why not the NTP server) ? Seems odd to me that this has been omitted as its very fundamental. Is there a reason for this?

By default the package comes from Debian and use the debian NTP Server.
