Would be nice to have a web ui button for this.
This would help with situations when the host system needs multiple restarts.

Fore me, i needed this when i've messed around with nvidia proprietaty GRID drivers, rebuilding initramfs every install/remove.

What situation would that be?
Last week I've been testing different nvidia grid driver versions, every install/remove requires initramfs rebuild.
Had this done with systemctl disable pve-guests.service
A gui button would be more convenient.

Crowding GUI with a button that may get used by 0.01% of users in 0.01% situations is not a good UI design.

You are, of course, welcome to submit a feature request or contribute code to make it happen.

Thank you for the use case. What about an additional Grub Boot entry that sets this (like in the post I linked)?
