Hi !

I'm a beginner with proxmox, and I don't understand why my vg pve is full ? I have only 4 VM and 2 snapshots. How can the 11TB be totally used in this case ? Did I miss something during the installation ? How can I fix this problem ?

I apply this configuration during the graphical install :
Ext4
swapsize = 64GB maxroot = 100GB minfree = 10GB maxvz = 10555GB

The installation is very recent, and I've hardly installed anything.

Thank you !

Hi,
this is normal and expected, that's how LVM (if you choose ext4 or xfs, as in your case) is configured by default by the installer.

It creates a big LVM-thin pool on top, spanning the whole VG. You probably want to look at the LVM-thin page instead.
Since you specified minfree = 10, there are only 10 GiB free space on the /dev/sda3 partition, the other space is taken by the LVM-thin volume.
