I have the issue with a new v5 install, enterprise repo, all updates installed (kernel 4.10.17-20) on an Intel NUC6i7KYK.
The system sits and waits after 'systemd-shutdown[1]: Sending SIGTERM to remaining processes...' for 90s until it continues with 'systemd-shutdown[1]: Sending SIGKILL to...
@fabian thanks for your quick response!
Regarding your point to sync ESPs:
Looking at proxinstall I wonder whether it wouldn't just be possible to run grub-install once for each ESP.

Hi,
I have an Intel NUC6i7KYK with the following components:
- Intel Core i7-6770HQ
- 2x 16GB Crucial DDR4-2133 RAM
- 2x Samsung SSD 960 PRO 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- 2x Lexar Jumpdrive S45 USB3.0 64GB USB sticks
I want to try to use the USB sticks with RAID1 for the OS (and reduce writes as much as...
tom, does that mean PVE will keep its own support/functionality for using DRBD9 (including future development and support for that PVE-internal functionality), but users have to download all 3 DRBD9 components from Linbit in the future?
Do you know whether there are still existing issues with 4Kn and PVE (aside from the installer issue)?
It seems that the PERC H730 does not allow this kind of emulation, according to http://blog.igics.com/2016/01/dont-use-4k-native-drives-for-vmware.html :(
I switched to tty1, pressed Ctrl+C and gained a rootshell.
Then I used fdisk and gdisk to have a look at /dev/sda.
You'll find the output attached in a screenshot.
Removing the value of the hdsize field results in its value being automatically set to 0.0.
With this, the installation fails with the same error message(s) as before.
Btw., starting PVE installation in debug mode results in an open shell that does not accept any input, so it's basically unusable.
Well, the response from Linbit still leaves things open.
The official and final decision by Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH is still to completely remove DRBD with all of its components?
So, what does this *exactly* mean?
Is Proxmox still allowed to distribute all 3 components from their own repository?
Does Proxmox have to exclude just DRBD Manage itself from their support offerings and refer customers who need DRBD Manage support to Linbit?
Why are you going to create a...
Well, hdsize was prefilled with 11175.0, I did not change this.
I just set the Filesystem to xfs.
UPDATE: I just tried it with hdsize set to 1024 -- same error.
