Yes I am!
I actually do not know the first thing about ZFS, my hosting company configured it for me, is there a way to reduce this memory usage or is it a drawback of ZFS and nothing can be done about it ?
Hello,
I have been having some vm crashes for a few weeks now when under high load.
After investigating I realized it was the host who was killing the kvm process because of OOM.
After I found this was the issue I reviewed more closely the memory usage on this host and I can't quite figure out...
Hi,
Am I the only one who had this issue ?
This is really problematic for us and we cannot continue our migration to Proxmox 6 until this is fixed.
I would really appreciate any help :)
Thanks!
Another thing that we noticed is that during a restoration the server is barely usable on the v6 even when applying a rate limit, whereas on v5 the other VMs are still in a functioning state. I'm wondering how much of it is related the timing issue ?
Hi,
We recently upgraded a couple of our servers running Proxmox v5 to v6.
To do this we made a backup of every vm on the host, reinstalled the host in v6 and restored all the vms.
But what we noticed is that the restoration took much longer than expected.
After this we decided to compare the...
Hello,
Since we upgraded our servers to Proxmox 5 we are having issues with the NoVNC console and the keyboard layout that we are using (French).
Specifically we are having trouble when typing the @ symbol. Sometimes we are not able to type in the console anymore after typing it and sometimes...
I primarily use noVNC. As the guests are Windows 2012 R2 I don't have sleep/suspend mode enabled. I always disable screen sleep to avoid any complication as well
Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble with some of my windows guests. When the VM is not used for a certain period of time it kind of freezes. I can't access the VM through the network and it doesn't respond to keystroke via the console. When I look at windows logs after rebooting the machine, I...
I want my first 1G card to handle only the network traffic from the VMs and my 10G card to only handle the traffic between the server and the SAN (where are my VMs hard drive stored)
If I don't configure anything, everything pass through the 1G card. So how do I tell my server whn to use which...
Hi pirateghost, thank's for your answer
The reason the 2 card are in the same subnet is that when we put the server together we only had the 1G card to serve traffic to SAN and traffic to the LAN/Internet. So I can't change my SAN subnet (which would be really easier I reckon) because it would...
Hi,
I have recently installed a 3 node cluster with network storage for my VMs. I have juste added SFPs nic in my nodes to handle the traffic between my servers and my SAN.
The problem is that I can't seem to route the traffic intended to the SAN via my SFP cards.
How would you do it ?
