LXC container - Firefox won't load any website. But other browsers ok.

Yup...ESR also refused to load pages. Not sure why only FF, though.

LXC container - Firefox won't load any website. But other browsers ok.

Huh...what do you mean? The snap? I mean, I use apt install ./firefox-x64-vXXX.deb. I don't think it's related to how firefox is installed, but more like to how it detects the containers network. But not sure how can I troubleshoot it. It's not DNS, since I can't load internal IPs, either. But I...

LXC container - Firefox won't load any website. But other browsers ok.

Initially was set to autodetect, but I've set it to none. It just gets the 'hmmm trouble getting that website' generic error page. But it's immediately right after hitting enter, no time to actually search for anything. It just happens with the LXC (ubuntu 24.04 template) right after building...

LXC container - Firefox won't load any website. But other browsers ok.

Hi all! So I'm a bit confused with this issue I'm finding for the first time... I installed an ubuntu 24.04 template, then LXDE with firefox on it (the .deb version from the mozilla repo, which I manually added). Firefox won't load any website, including internal IP addresses. It fails...

Unable to find template for Ubuntu 24.04

Hi guys! Not sure what's wrong with my proxmox, but it would seem it's unable to list the Ubuntu 24.04 as a template available fro download. I connected to the console and typed pveam update and then pveam available, but it still only lists until Ubuntu 23.10, then onto the turnkeys.... Is...

    snapd in privileged ubuntu container?

...Encouraging. I guess I'll have to avoid updated Ubuntu versions such as 22.04 and so on. I'll stick on 20.04 for the time being.

    snapd in privileged ubuntu container?

Did this ever get resolved? I basically can't use any recent Ubuntu container, because basic apps such as Firefox are now snaps.

[SOLVED] Can't install snap in LXC container

    Can't shutdown LXC container

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm willing to bet that pct stop will have the same effect, but I'll have to wait until it crashes again...I might report later this week :) There is indeed a network filesystem mounted, but there was no network interruption whatsoever, and the same mounts have been...

    Can't shutdown LXC container

Hi guys! I have every few days a persistent container that refuses to let itself shut. It times out on any shutdown attempt, and so far the only solution I found is to reboot the whole server because of a single container. Is there a way to force shutdown an LXC container? This is what I get...

Help! System LVM volume seems RO

Hi guys! Not very sure what happened, but seems my root LVM volume where proxmox sits is probably on RO. It keeps complaining of 0 bytes of space left, so it won't let me open a VNC console, and most tasks seem to fail. How should I proceed to fix these errors? EDIT: So, maybe it really is...

My host shuts down with no warning after ~16 hours

Thanks for your kind reply. It might be related, indeed, but given it's a NUC and has passive heating, I put the blame on the extra core I gave to one of the VMs without really noticing. I reckon it was a bit strained and overheating, then got emergency shutdown with no warning. I'll need...

My host shuts down with no warning after ~16 hours

Hi guys, I'm having this issue...The server has repeatedly shut down for a couple of days in a row after a few hours running. No traces on the syslog that might hint at anything...just, running, then the next line you see is the next boot sequence next day, when I find out. I have proxmox...
