I was wondering if there is a minimal (linux) distro (that you use) to remotely (rdp) into a VM on proxmox. What is a good one for that? (do i really still need a full blown os on my main pc?)

I guess i didn't create a vm (but a linux container). Making a ubuntu server now from an iso. Everything works now. hassio / pihole / portainer / samba / motioneye / docker-compose / local webcam

I am new to proxmox (V 7.0-8), followed the instructions from networkchuck (youtube) and now my proxmox is up and running with pihole and home-assistant (ubuntu). (on a PC)
I have no valid subscription (free user) and am wondering if that is the reason why i can't see the hardware setup...
