OK it seems I had to "Activate" HA to be able to start the virtual machines. Fair amount of config in this new version of proxmox. Will definitely be testing a lot more before going live with it. Cheers for the help.

Hi Tom, Thanks for getting in touch. Is this the ONLY way I can do this? So pre-2.0 nodes can't be added to the 2.1 cluster? Upgrading a production environment would be highly risky. Will just have to shift vms to the new cluster and then rebuild the old. Cheers, Matt

Hi all, I have a cluster setup which contains 2 servers with version 1.8 and one with version 1.9 of proxmox. I have a new cluster (2 servers) built with proxmox 2.1. My question is can I add the old nodes to the new cluster or the other way round? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Matt
