same for me, since the upgrade to 7 the top show the CPU usage of the host and not the container. It worked in 6.4
Is there another way to simply get the CPU usage of a container inside it. Or is it a bug?
I would like to know if there is a method via api or cli on a node to know if it is shutting down.
On some of my nodes PVE takes more than a minute to complete a shutdown so I would to know it to avoid launching some of my bash for no reason.
I updated my PVE from 6.3.3 to 6.3.4 and at reboot I constated that all my Windows VMs (XP and 7) lost their hardware configuration.
I mean Windows started to install once again all the drivers (with success), I got a new network interface (and lost my previous network settings), I got a...

Should I add a crontab every day to do: pct rescan ?
I have a problem with ct disks (unused I think) that I can't remove, and it's taking a lot of space.
I'm on PVE 6.3.3, I have a ct which is actually using one disk vm-103-disk-4. But I figured out that there are also old disks (vm-103-disk-0, vm-103-disk-1, vm-103-disk-2, vm-103-disk-3)...
Ok, interesting idea.
I quickly searched but didn't find the information.
The help says:
Whether the drive should be included when making backups.
With backup=no the drive won't be created (empty) when I will restore the VM ?
I searched the forum but I couldn't find an answer so I'm posting my question here.
I'm trying to exclude 'pagefile.sys' while making backup of my windows VM.
In the file /etc/cron.d/vzdump I added this --exclude-path .+/pagefile.sys at the end of the line of the VM.
But it doesn't...
