    No, just backups ..... unmounting and mounting again would not break any VM, of course.

    I didn't think in that .... after cleaning the empty space this is the result: INFO: transferred 34359 MB in 145 seconds (236 MB/s) INFO: archive file size: 5.05GB Thanks a lot ! :)

    Hi all, There's an issue that I can't really understand. We have one KVM VM (W2k3) with a disk of 32G in LVM. The used disk inside the VM is about 9G, and the backup make 23'5G.Who can understand this ? We tried to move it to a /directory storage converting it to qcow2, to defrag the entire...

    Well, hosts are UP for 20 minutes now. I could get the main config from the main firewall access and then the rest (MACs) was fast and easy, since same firewall gave me the rest of the info needed :) Thanks a lot for your celerity, escoread :)

    Hi, they are not running :( I have 2 x win2k3 and 2 x linux. All of them are in LVM volume. At the moment am creating a new VM with similar hardrware and later I will modify the config, will be faster than restoring backups.

    Hi, I just did this and lost my VMs config files. I totally forgot how proxmox works (2 years working with this great software): mv /etc/pve/nodes/old.name/ /etc/pve/nodes/new.name/ Also, this is a unique server yet, so there's no copy of this files except for the last backup (2 days ago)...

    Couple of issues with Proxmox3

    I see a couple of processes with some activity, one is the nfsd daemon, and the other one (99% IO) is the process [jbd2/dm-1-8]. Is the daemon syncing the VMs ? When I do a online migration is almost instant. Could this be the explanation ? :)
