Those 2 discs are spinning discs, I also have 6x SSD (1TB) in this node but I want to use these for CEPH. But maybe I need to use 1 for the OS. Yes the controller can create volumes.

Good afternoon! I have currently a cluster running Ceph with sata ssd's. Is it possible to add a new node to this cluster with nvme hardware, or will this give problems? Thanks, Tom

I try to change my containers from 'unpriv no' to 'unpriv yes' by restoring a backup. I also get this mknod error. Is there any way to restore them with 'unpriv yes'? Or any other solution?

Great, this did the trick!

There are 2 files in the storage dir: xxx.enc en xxx.pw. I made backups during the setup of the storage. Sorry but I don't know how to pass the keyfile.

I can create and restore backups threw the GUI now, everything encrypted. On the Node where all my containers are running I run: 'proxmox-backup-client snapshots' and gives me a lists of all backups on the PBS. Then I want to mount this backup: proxmox-backup-client mount...

Hi All, I did backup all my Containers and VM's (encrypted), now I am running a second round incrementally. Backing up Vm's are lightning fast, but the Cointainer backups are really slow compared to the VM's. Is this normal ? Thanks

Thanks Fabian, but I don't understand the part how I can browse the backup on the node (stored on the Proxmox backup server). Can you explain this a littlebit more?
