Your problem could also be that you don't have the Comodo Cert as a trusted CA in your browser.... Check this link: https://support.comodo.com/?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=1 You can download the certs from there. Install as trusted CA, restart browser and console should work again...

Also, Java7 by default has the security setting set to "High". If you lower it to "Medium" you'll be able to use the Java Console again with no problem! Best regards, Joel.
