    30 hours an day? You may want to slowly back up each VM to get it's 1st full backup done and let them do there diff ones.

    I was able to shutdown the VM and just copy over the DISK image with an iscsi mount to an RBD mount.

    no pve on the storage only node. Moving to CEPH and can mount iscsi and copy data over. Just want to know if there is an way to force QEMU to do an LIVE Disk move so I don't need to stop the VM and copy data in the back end.

    Your storage is running in the VM? Also can you set an delay on the storage nodes for shutdown on UPS power? + also maybe set ceph maintenance mode
