Yes i know about that command im currently manually toggling between performance and powersave...i was hoping one profile would do both... doesnt look like the case though.

Well in the UK we have the highest electricity bills in the world...yes the world. My monthly consumption is about 370GBP for an average house...so for a machine running 24/7 powersaving is everything. And yes like you i have a high powered box that i only power up when i use it.

Hi there. had a bit of a breakthrough for the strangest reason. I keep a, what i call, a base windows vm that i copy and then use for different jobs....this one was giving me the code 43 error....on the off chance i thought id create a fresh one...which works!! And, i might add its not giving...

Right well in that case no....no matter what the setting when windows is running native on the hardware no matter what the setting the intel graphics app says it disabled....as per that screenshot back at the start of the thread....that being said, ive not tried it since the proxmox side has...

Ah - sorry just so i understand (ReBar is enabled on mine?) - i only ask as whether the setting is off or on in native windows the intel windows driver says its not enabled.... (win for Proxmox if it is)!!

Yep - thats the thing...ReBar is enabled...! Re your previous post about what you had enabled to make youre card work....there are more steps to make say, my old nvidia card work....are those 2 steps you posted the only ones..? As theres nothing on the precision i might just flatten it tonight...

Hi there. First of all, removed the entries from the blacklist... Then i went through the bios to see if there was any settings i could see that would slow it down....i changed a few things (one was the post bios time changed from 5 to 10 seconds) and one that switched off the power management...

ok - ill remove it....what are the specific settings for an intel card...all the instructions ive read are aimed at either intel igp, nvidia or AMD?

Pretty sure i went through everything....the only thing that was different was black list name which i think was "xe"? Not sure about the boot delay...ill have to go looking but thanks so much for the help so far...very much appreciated.
