Hi @bbgeek17,
In our context, we are preparing configurations intended to be instantiated by non-specialist departments; we are therefore prioritizing ease of implementation.
1. At the very beginning we followed multiple docs, mainly...
We are excited to announce the first release of Proxmox Virtual Environment with official support for a second CPU architecture: 64-bit ARM (arm64/aarch64). Until now, Proxmox VE was available for x86-64 (amd64) only.
Proxmox VE 9.2 for arm64...
Hi,
Thanks for your link.
We have run Ceph RBD mirroring (by pool, by image, snapshot-based and journal-based, one-way, two-ways). Not in production environment. Working as expected. Requires some care during implementation...
It needs some...
My only point here is that the term “snapshot” has different meanings, heavily depending on the contextual point-of-view:
PVE VM snapshot
This is the native Proxmox function. It freezes the current status of a VM. This state can be “unfrozen”...
Seems (a little bit) better with latest kernel 7.0.6-2, latest garbage collect task : 6h46.
7.0.2-6 : average garbage collect : about 24h.
6.17.13 : (not easy to do the maths) : less than 3 hours.
Datastore with 95TiB backups.
Same here, garbage_collection tasks are (much) slower with 7.0.2-6 than with 6.17.13-11.
Fastest verification on 7.0 kernel (6h35) is slower than slowest verification on 6.17 kernel (4h15).
Christophe.
Hi,
Similar problem here, pve 9.2, ceph 19.2.3.
Mirror uuid is always empty…
Claude helped a lot, but is tired now.
ChatGPT did it’ s best but still way behind Claude.
And no Ceph rbd mirroring (image, snapshot mode)…
Any step-bY-step...
